Nearly 3,000 people lost their lives when the United States was attacked on September 11, 2001. But in the ashes there was triumph, in the rubble there was courage and in tragedy there was heroism. Now two of the biggest stars of NASCAR will honor the fallen, the heroes who helped rescue the injured and the military heroes who protect and defend the United States today. Kyle Busch and Ryan Newman will both drive special “Honoring Our Heroes” paint schemes when the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series comes to Richmond International Raceway on September 10. Each of these patriotic cars honors America’s triumph over tragedy, its courage under fire and it’s heroism above all.
In honor of the 10th anniversary of 9/11, M&M’S® is unveiling a special Red, White & Blue scheme to be driven by Kyle Busch during the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series race at Richmond International Raceway on September 10th. This paint scheme is reminiscent of the No. 36 September 11th memorial car driven by Kenny Schrader at Dover International Speedway following the attacks ten years ago. Kyle Busch’s special paint scheme will be available to fans as a limited edition diecast. A portion of the proceeds from the sale of the die-cast will be donated to the USO to support America’s troops and their families as they defend our country.
