Product Description
On October 13, 2010, the NASCAR Hall of Fame® announced the second group of Inductees who will make up the Class of 2011. The inductees will be officially enshrined into the Hall of Honor in May of 2011. The Class of 2011 car will feature the signature of each inductee on the hood and will be decorated in a special finish called Flashcoat Color, a blue toned color shifting finish. For 2011 the set will also include five additional cars. In addition to the class car, each inductee will have their own design with their likeness and signature on the hood and will use the same base design as the class car.
Bobby Allison earned 84 victories in his illustrious career and was crowned the 1983 Premier Series champion. Known as a charter member of the “Alabama Gang”, the longtime resident of
Hueytown,
Ala is cherished by fans around the country. Although his career was cut short by injuries he suffered in an accident in Pocono in 1988, Allison continues to be a great Ambassador for the sport. In addition to being the 1983 champion, Allison also won the DAYTONA 500 on three occasions, with the last being his final career win in 1988, when he finished ahead of son Davey who finished second.
